President and Principal Appraiser

Cynthia D. Herbert, AAA, President and founder of Appretium Appraisal Services LLC, is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) and serves on the board as a past president (2017-2019). Certified Membership in the Appraisers Association represents the highest level of accomplishment for members, including qualifying education, expertise and experience. As a generalist with over 35 years of experience in the appraisal profession, she has evaluated an extensive range of Household Contents, including Fine and Decorative Arts, Antiques, and Residential Furnishings.

Cynthia Herbert is an instructor for the Appraisal Institute of America’s (AIA) Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program (CASP) and the Appraisers Association of America. Through The Appraisal Foundation's (TAF) Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB), she is a a Certified USPAP Instructor (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) and has provided expert witness testimony relating to USPAP compliance.
